FRESH WAYS TO TRAVEL LAUNCH

First, Ipswich Buses and Suffolk County Council are delighted
to announce the launch of Fresh Ways to Travel, an innovative mobile bus ticketing service, set to revolutionise bus travel in Ipswich.

Mobile bus ticketing aims to save users time when boarding buses; rather than searching for loose change or paying with a banknote, all passengers have to do now is show their mobile to the driver with the ticket onscreen. Advance purchase tickets can be bought prior to travel, and can be activated as soon as the bus approaches a stop.

To help promote the service, White Space came up with the
idea of releasing an eye-catching mobile ticketing branded bus (pictured), which was just part of our overall campaign.

Participants can register online at www.freshwaystotravel.org.uk, or simply text "Fresh Travel" to 82500, and it takes only a few minutes to download the free App to an iPhone or Android phone. It will also work for any phone that has internet access (over 90% of mobiles), and has a simple activation process.
