YOU'RE HIRED!
Carrying on our commitment to giving young people a leg up in the industry, we've recently taken on a new apprentice within our creative studio.
The most recent addition to our growing team is graphic design apprentice Charlotte White, who arrived via IDEA's 'Back Young Suffolk' Apprenticeship Scheme launched by the Prime Minister in 2009.
We're keen to create opportunities for young people and encourage success by providing invaluable hands-on experience from a grass
roots level, and always look for apprentices who show a real passion
for the industry. Charlotte demonstrated a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic and a genuine flair for creative design, so the decision to take her on was an easy one.
She's already been involved with several high-profile projects, assisting the designers and putting forward some really inspiring ideas.
Charlotte adds: “Being able to get practical experience in a real, working environment has been a massive benefit to me and I'm picking up so many useful skills that you just can't learn in a classroom. White Space is just the kind of agency I want to work for when I finish my college studies and I feel very lucky to have been given this opportunity.”
Neil, our MD, commented: “Charlotte beat off some stiff competition to earn her apprenticeship and it gives us tremendous satisfaction to be able to inject fresh blood into the industry. We also run an intern programme, and have recently offered a place to designer Dale Peart to support his studies at the University Campus Suffolk. Our interns always prove they have a lot to offer and we're pleased to play a part in progressing their careers.”
Now in our 9th year of trading we're looking towards a bright future, which promises continued growth, exceptional work and further opportunities for young apprentices and staff members alike!
