WORLD CAR-FREE DAY

As I'm sure you're all aware, today (22nd Sept) is World Car-free Day!

Thanks to our commitment to the Fresh Ways to Work scheme, the vast majority of our team already travel to/from work by walking, cycling or using public transport, but we've made an extra effort today to try to get everyone here sustainably.

And we'd have done it too if it wasn't for a single team member (there's always one, isn't there?), who had to drive. In his defence, he lives a fair old schlep from the office, but was well up for hopping on the train until
he remembered an after-work appointment that would scupper his plans.

If this important rendezvous fell on any other day I'd be proudly boasting of a 100% car-free agency, but at least we have something to aspire to next year! And I don't think one solitary driver across the whole company is a bad effort...

I'd better just check he doesn't drive a turbo-charged Humvee!
