BRITISH BUSINESS CHAMPIONS!

Our Anglian Business Award win back in July really whetted our appetite for celebrating our green achievements, so we were pleased to make the shortlist for the Resource Efficiency Award at the East of England Business Champions 2011!

The awards event took place at Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire last Thursday and we had high hopes of clinching another bit of silverware for Hannah's environmental award cabinet, alas, despite our best efforts, we had to settle for the runner-up spot on this occasion.

We were judged on our commitment to improving resource efficiency by reducing our energy and water consumption, and waste going to landfill. It would've been nice to win of course, but when you consider the awards were open to companies across the whole of the East of England, we really can't be too disappointed. And at least this way we have something to aim for next year, not that we need an incentive for doing our bit.

While we're on the subject, we found out last week that we have even more green success to celebrate, but more on that later!
