AND THE OSCAR GOES TO...
I'm sure you've all heard of the Academy Awards, which took place last month, and saw our very own homegrown talent walking away with the top honours. But you may not be so familiar with the Green Oscars, which are taking place on Thursday 24th March at Wherstead Park?
We're very proud to announce that we've been shortlisted for a Creating the Greenest County (CtGC) Award in the 'Business Culture' category at this year's event.
We won our place on the shortlist for our work with the Suffolk Carbon Charter, a full commitment to ISO 14001 and continued investment in further green initiatives. We've probably made less impact on the planet this year than the fleet of hummers ticking over outside on Oscar night!
Our Environmental Champion Hannah had the following to say; "We are one of many businesses actively responding to climate change and environmental issues. Our environmental policy commits us to steering both our own companies and the Direct Response industry into a sustainable future by reducing the effects of our business and our sector on the planet."
The CtGC Awards are now in their 4th year and continue to go from strength to strength. Previous winners include: National Express East Anglia, University Campus Suffolk, BT, BBC Radio Suffolk and the Port of Felixstowe.

We'll announce the winners next week - wish us luck!
Update: We took the Silver medal on the night - runners-up to the Port of Felixstowe - congrats!
