EMMA'S COWBOY
Howdy pardners!
You may have noticed our Draw@4 subjects have become increasingly obscure of late, and therefore, hard to draw. It was my choice this week, so I decided to keep it simple - a cowboy.
Why a cowboy? Well... Partly for Movember, but mainly for my own amusement, I've been cultivating a rather fetching ginger 'tache - think Yosemite Sam and you're not too wide of the mark. Extra points would be awarded for cowboys sporting particularly flamboyant soup strainers...
For some inexplicable reason Will drew a Frenchman, complete with beret, and Nicola went for some kind of gunslinger / Fu Manchu hybrid. I've never seen a cowboy with a long, bootlace moustache, have you?
Honourable mentions go to the runner-up Shaun (who knew the boss is actually a pretty nifty scribbler?) and Pete (the clear winner in the flamboyant facial hair stakes). Both were definite contenders, but lacked the stuff of nightmares of which I'm quite fond.
So, 9 months in the making, just like a baby but with slightly less screaming and poop, Emma clinched her maiden victory with arguably the most sinister drawing I've ever seen.
Hannah's donkey is the only thing that comes close.
When I was a little boy I had a pyjama case that looked just like Emma's cowboy. I called it my gonk and it was darned eerie. Explains a lot...
