CHARLOTTE'S BAT

Last week's Draw@4 winner didn't get posted, so here's a quick summary...

The returning champ Pete wasn't around, so he left Charlotte in charge, who decided his subject wasn't up to snuff and chose her own (which I can't remember now). Anyway, Hannah was judged the winner, so she was in the champion's chair this week.

Now the office has been plagued by a rather peculiar and annoyingly persistent squeaking sound for the past few days, leading us to suspect our ceiling cavity may have been invaded by a rogue bird or maybe even a bat!

We thought we'd pinpointed its position to an area above the stationery cupboard, so I lifted a ceiling tile to investigate... Alas, the elusive critter outwitted me with a sudden bout of silence and I got a bit scared peering into the darkness - in my mind's eye, a pale face would suddenly loom out of the gloom - brrrr!

So "the bat in the roof" was Hannah's choice of subject and this is Charlotte's winning effort.
