NICOLA'S CHARLOTTE VISITING A BERLIN LANDMARK

Last week's champion Charlotte is off to Berlin next week, so she chose 'me beside a Berlin landmark' as this week's subject... although you'd be forgiven for thinking the subject was 'gingerbread girl builds a sandcastle' if Nicola's winning effort is anything to go by! As Charlotte succinctly put it...

"It was a poor showing all round really"

To be fair, the subject left us rather stumped, so the first minute was lost as we racked our brains trying to think of Berlin landmarks! Emma played it safe and went for Berlin Zoo, although no-one could work out why Europe's most visited zoo would include a sheep! I made a plucky attempt at the Brandenburg Gate, but it came out more like the Arc de Triomphe and effectively sealed my first ever last place :(

A strong contender, Neil's pic featured David Hasselhoff serenading Charlotte as the Berlin Wall came down, but Nicola had clearly done her homework for her drawing of Charlotte visiting Charlotte Schloss. I'm not questioning Nicola's knowledge of the German capital, but I can't help but think she was tipped off as to the existence of Charlotte's namesake castle.

Luckily Dunk wasn't around (he's at the V festival), as I'm sure he'd have had something to say - especially when you look back over the last 3 weeks and see the top spot has gone to Nicola, then Charlotte, then back to Nicola!

Anyone betting against Charlotte being crowned the winner next week? Oh yeah, she's in Berlin.
